Our safety & privacy commitments

1. Children never sign up on their own. A parent creates the family and gives consent first.
2. We only keep a nickname, birth month and year, language and avatar for a child. No photos, school, address, phone or email.
3. Your Kin always says it's an AI. It never asks for personal details or asks a child to keep secrets from you.
4. Every message is safety-checked before and after the AI replies — on SproutKin's own safety system, whichever AI writes the answer.
5. Some content is never shown to children, and no one can approve it: sexual content, self-harm methods, graphic violence, hate, drug or weapon instructions, gambling and scams.
6. If a child seems upset or unsafe, their Kin responds calmly, encourages them to talk to a trusted adult, and shares helpline details.
7. No ads. We never sell data. Children's data is never used to train AI unless you separately opt in.
8. You can export or delete your child's data at any time.
9. No loot boxes, no public leaderboards for under-13s, and streaks that forgive rest days.
